Patients react to lymphoma (both Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma) treatment in various ways. Frequently the side effects last only a few days and are mild. As they are nothing out of the ordinary there is nothing to worry about. Most side effects disappear when the Hodgkin’s Lymphoma treatment ends, or do no last too long. Some side effects can also be helped with treatment.

Side effects in treatment of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma are identical to side effects from Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma treatment. The side effects include:

  • Tiredness

  • Vomiting

  • Blood in urine

  • Constipation

  • Diarrhea

  • Nausea

  • Bladder irritation

  • Rash

  • Lung problems

  • Fever

  • Hair loss

Also, fertility may be affected in women and men as well so it is advisable to discuss this before the treatment.
