Hodgkin’s Lymphoma is among the most curable types of cancer. Unfortunately, doctors haven’t discovered the cause of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma yet. Hodgkin’s Lymphoma is the most likely to begin in people in their twenties and thirties. It is a lot less common in people in the middle age, but it can attack again after 60.
The lymphoma develop as follows:
First the lymphoma is found in a single lymph node region. Then, the lymphoma spreads to two or three lymph node regions close to the first one. So if your lymphoma starts in the neck it can subsequently spread to chest and later on to armpits. The next stage of lymphoma development means that the lymphoma will be found in a few lymph node regions and thus it may be found around abdomen and groin. Then, lymphoma becomes more omnipresent and it may attack lymph nodes in other body parts, such as lungs, or bones.
Patients who suffer from Hodgkin’s Lymphoma can be subdivided in two groups. Patients belonging to the group „A” do no suffer from weight loss, sweating and fever. Patients from group „B” do have weight loss, high fever and a lot of sweating.
